New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ SpiritFilled Productions) - Uptown Praise Band, Grand Rapids, MI has been chosen as a top ten finalist in "BEST of the BLESSED" talent competition sponsored by TBN and United One Productions.
1st prize is $3,000, 2nd prize is $2,000 and 3rd prize is $1,000. The top ten finalist also get free recording time in TBN recording studios.

The competition is an american idol style where each band plays a single four minute song in front of industry judges.
The top three move on to perform live on stage at Christian Music Awards, October 23rd, 2010, televised and hosted by TBN, CeCe Winan, Salvador, Phil Stacey and others at TBN's Music City Hall in Nashville, TN.
