New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - Adam Dutkiewicz is well known as the goofy guitarist wearing short shorts and capes on stage, but his musical prowess goes far beyond. While it may not be well known that the producer studied bass at the Berklee School of Music, any devout Killswitch Engage fan already knows that Adam was the original drummer of the band, and that's the role we find the acclaimed musician reclaiming with Times of Grace. Also re-teaming with original KsE vocalist Jesse Leach, Adam D. discusses how the pairing came about and how the project was born with Rhythm Magazine.

"It's a strange story actually," explains Dutkiewicz. "I was going through a pretty tough time. It started when I was on tour with Killswitch in the UK and I ended up having emergency surgery on my back because I couldn't walk on my own. I ended up writing a lot of the record from my hospital bed.

"I wrote it in my head and once I got home and was able to get out of bed and get in motion I started demoing material and felt like I wanted to make a record. It was very personal to me and I ended up getting in contact with Jeese because I don't think I'm the greatest vocalist and lyricist so I wanted a little help in that department."

Read the whole feature right here, and listen to "Strength in Numbers" below. The track is the first offering from Times of Grace's forthcoming Janaury 18th, 2011 release The Hymn of a Broken Man.
