PAY TRIBUTE TO 2010 LATIN RECORDING ACADEMY PERSON OF THE YEAR PLACIDO DOMINGO New York, NY (TOP40 Charts/ The Recording Academy) -- Performing artists include Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas conductor Alondra de la Parra, two-time Latin GRAMMY winner Alejandro Fern�ndez, Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner Natalia Jim�nez, Mexican singer Eugenia Le�n, legendary pop trio the Lettermen, actress/ singer Lucero, Latin Recording Academy � Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Paloma San Basilio, two-time Latin GRAMMY winner Noel Schajris, and Latin GRAMMY nominee Aleks Syntek. Also, Latin Recording Academy � President/CEO Gabriel Abaroa Jr., Chair of The Latin Recording Academy Board of Trustees Luis Cobos, Recording Academy � President/CEO Neil Portnow, and other industry VIPs will be in attendance. The 2010 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year event will honor Pl�cido Domingo and include a special gala and concert featuring friends performing some of his pop duets and favorite music.
