Culver City, CA (Top40 Charts/ Audio Fidelity/ Morada Music) - Marshall Blonstien's reissue label Audio Fidelity has released a set of recordings that are pop and rock classics. Billy Joel's 52nd Street (1978) and the brilliant Stevie Wonder and his celebration of funk, soul and pop Music of My Mind (1972) make their debut on Audio Fidelity's 24 karat gold disc.

Both releases are on the Rolling Stone Magazine 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, putting the recordings in some very special company. Joel and Wonder created their own niches in different time periods and paved the way for countless artists. Joel was a literal hit machine that seemed light years away from Wonder who was spinning out hits from Motown in the 60's and no doubt was an influence on the now legendary piano man. Wonder was a study in pure all around talent on Music of My Mind creating all of his music then playing a bevy of instruments during the recording session.

Joel's 52nd Street cranked out hits like 'Big Shot', 'Honesty' and 'My Life' combining elements of rock, pop and jazz brilliantly while owning the charts just as Wonder had before him six years earlier. These two artists from two different worlds with similar successes come together on the fine recording processes of Audio Fidelity's 24 karat gold discs to delight fans like never before. The quintessential album sound found on LP's is reborn again on CD.

Each CD is a numbered limited edition release with a window pane slipcase and the words to the lyrics included. Both discs are instant collector's items and some of the more popular recordings produced in the 70's.

Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder are quite a duo on anyone's stage and for a short time you can get both of these fine recordings before they are no longer in print and expensive collector's items. Audio Fidelity has a large catalog of reissues and now these two classic releases become part of music lore once again.
