Tiffany Apan And Her Music In Feature Indie Film

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Tiffany Apan Official Website) - 2010 has really been a great year for singer/songwriter/actress/artist/writer/dancer Tiffany Apan. In addition to a so far successful 2010 mini tour (to follow her 2008-2009 Poet Tour), she has enjoyed more international radio play, an award for her "Scarborough Fair" music video, and music licensing for film and video projects.

In early 2010, Tiffany's song "Ghost" off of her album POET was selected as PASTIntel Paranormal Reasearch Team's theme for their video projects. But Tiffany can now add another project to her 'soundtrack resume.' October 31, 2010 (Halloween) will bring the world premiere screening of the independent feature film, "The Girl." "The Girl" is a horror film in the tradition of Friday the 13th. The difference though being that the killer is a female instead of a 'Jason-type.' The story also has many twists in the plot and has an all-star indie film cast including Debbie Rochon (An American Nightmare, VH1's Scream Queen, and Colour of Darkness), Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th), Robert Z'Dar (Maniac Cop, Tango & Cash), and Lisa Neeld (Playboy Cover Model, Easy Riders Cover Model). Tiffany plays the role of Kara in the film and musical partner, Jason English plays the role of Chuck. Two songs off of Tiffany's 2008 debut album, "Poet" was selected to appear on the film's soundtrack. The songs selected for "The Girl" soundtrack are "Whispers" and "Warrior (Soldier for Myself)." Also appearing on the film's soundtrack is singer/actress Samantha Newark who is best known for providing the voice for Jericha/Jem in the 1980s cartoon, "Jem and the Holograms."

"The Girl" premieres on Sunday October 31 at 4pm. The screening will take place at the Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland, OH. Following the premiere will be a meet n greet with Lisa Neeld, Tiffany Apan, and the rest of the cast in attendance. They will also be available for autographs and Tiffany's album "Poet" will also be available for purchase at the event.
