Entitled 'The Great Tenor Songbook', the album is a collection of classic songs that have been recorded by some of the great voices of our time, including Caruso, Mario Lanza, Perry Como, Luciano Pavarotti and many more. Continuing the musical journey that started with 'Mio Visione - My Dream' and followed by 'Compass', 'The Great Tenor Songbook' is a testament to the songs that mean the most to Mark Vincent on a personal level. 'These are the songs I grew up with, the songs that move me. This album definitely has a story to it. And it's very important for an album to have a story. My story here is that I started singing in a restaurant at age ten... and here I am today. These songs remind me a lot of my childhood. And all this is exactly what Mark Vincent hopes those who hear the album will get from the experience. 'I want people to be moved, to relate the lyrics to their lives, to have the songs linger in their minds.' Mark teams up once again with Musical Director Chong Lim and is backed up by a 45 piece orchestra, conducted by ARIA Award winner Guy Noble. Mark came to the public's attention when he won the 2009 series of Channel 7's Australia's Got Talent. What followed was a whirlwind of events including recording and releasing his debut album MIO VISIONE - MY DREAM, appearing on stage with The Priests and the support slot for Whitney Houston and Katherine Jenkins. He released his second album COMPASS in early 2010.
Now 17 years of age and about to enter Year 12 in 2011, Mark Vincent continues to grow and mature at a rate well beyond his years.
