Parade hit the perfect note as Macy's announces the addition of international superstar, Kylie Minogue, to the cast of stars set to perform in the annual procession. Having enthralled millions of fans around the world with extraordinary performances, Kylie is poised to create a commotion with this special Thanksgiving Day performance. The 84th edition of America's favorite holiday tradition will step off at 9:00 AM on Thursday, November 25th, ready to entertain more than 3.5 million spectators lining the streets of Manhattan and more than 50 million viewers nationwide.
Over the course of her extraordinary 20-plus-year-career, Kylie Minogue has been a global force in pop music and is one of the world's most successful female artists with more than 60 million albums sold worldwide, 50 hit singles and 11 studio albums. Her most recent release, Aphrodite, entered the top 10 in thirteen different countries. On Parade day, Kylie will perform a song from her latest international hit album Aphrodite on the brand new Homewood Suites by Hilton On The Roll Again float. The float, based on the wonder of wooden pull toys features a very colorful and adorable family of ducks, literally in a Parade. With the final completion of the float performance roster, the 2010 Macy's Parade includes an impressive list of artists spanning different musical genres and generations.
