New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Epic Records) - Epic recording artist Sara Bareilles marked another achievement today in what's become a remarkable year for the singer-songwriter by grabbing her third career Grammy Nomination. "King Of Anything," the hit single from her sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Heart garnered Sara a nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance as nominees for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced at the Nokia Theatre last evening.

The nomination comes off the heels of, Kaleidoscope Heart debuting at No 1 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart upon its release on September 7th. Critics have praised Sara's sophomore efforts on Kaleidoscope Heart across the board. The Wall Street Journal raved, "Kaleidoscope Heart plants Sara in Billy Joel territory." The New York Daily News wrote, "Bareilles holds the keys to a pop world gone gaga." The New York Times praised Sara quoting, "Deliberately or not, Ms. Bareilles has figured out a singer-songwriter's response to the ascendance of 'Glee.' Now she's her own glee club," while People Magazineapplauds the album, saying, "In 2007 the singer-songwriter rocketed from obscurity with her album Little Voice and the Grammy-nominated pop-rock gem 'Love Song'. How does she follow up on that? Impeccably."

"King of Anything" has been a hit at radio - landing in the Top 5 on the Hot AC radio airplay chart and breaking the Top 20 at Top 40 radio. In addition, the stunning video for the single was just recently added to MTV.

Kaleidoscope Heart - which Sara wrote and the renowned Neal Avron produced - is the follow up to her massive Grammy nominated debut, Little Voice which has sold over 1 million copies worldwide and garnered the singer/songwriter two Grammy nominations for the triple platinum hit single, "Love Song."

Sara is currently back out on the road headlining shows in over 30 major cities across America in support of Kaleidoscope Heart. The tour will wrap at the Van Duzer Theatre at Humboldt State in Eureka, CA on December 18th. Up next for Sara is a holiday performance at the White House Christmas Tree Lighting on December 9th.
