Boston, MA (Top40 Charts/ Berkleemusic) - Berkleemusic, the online continuing education division of Berklee College of Music, has announced Sasha Szlafarski as the winner of the first ever Live From Studio You contest. This merit-based contest provided Berkleemusic students with a platform to showcase their success stories through video submissions, and encouraged entrants to share their work with their family, friends, and fans. Sasha's entry, "Colouring The World With Sound," was one of five finalists determined by community voting, and was ultimately selected as the contest winner by Berklee's Dean of Continuing Education and select Berkleemusic faculty members. Sasha, a 20-year-old composer from Canada, is currently working toward his Master Certificate in Orchestration for Film and TV with Berkleemusic. "I can't tell you how honored I am to have been recognized by some of the most respected people in music education around the world," remarked Sasha. "It's encouraging to know that the work I've done so far, and the information I have applied through my studies at Berkleemusic has had such a positive affect on people."
