New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - Sonisphere has made another exciting line-up announcement for next summer's fest: Megadeth will return to the festival withSlayer, Anthrax and Metallica for a UK Big Four performance!
2010 was the year the Big Four performed together for the first time, kicking up a storm at several European Sonispheres, much to the envy of UK metal heads. The performances were hailed as "the most significant event in the history of metal" at that time and anyone who saw the live cinecast of the Bulgarian show- which saw over 130,000 people turn out to local cinemas- will know what a treat this will be! Now, FINALLY, we in the UK get to see it live too!!!

"The Big Four Concerts are the most important, most exciting event to happen in the history of live concerts in our genre, and perhaps the entire music industry." comments Megadethmainman Dave Mustaine. "I am glad to be a part of this enormous celebration of thrash, speed, and good ole heavy metal!"

Weekend ticket packages for the festival are on sale now, with festival organisers stating that day tickets for the festival *may* not become available. "Given that 2010's event had sold out before Iron Maiden took to the stage, and the hugely exciting headliners set for next year, SONISPHERE can not guarantee that day tickets will be available for 2011," states their official website.
"Fans are advised to get their tickets early to ensure they don't miss out on what is already shaping up to be the festival's most exciting year yet." You can pick up tickets for the festival now at THIS LOCATION.
