Austin, TX. (Top40 Charts/ USA Songwriting Official Website) - USA Songwriting Competition to present a showcase at Borders Books & Music in Austin, TX during SXSW (South By South West) on Friday, March 18, 2011, from 7.30pm at Borders cafe (4477 S. Lamar, Austin, TX).
Past artists include winners and finalists of the USA Songwriting Competition that went on to get signed and hit the charts after the showcase.

Kate Voegele was featured at the same showcase in 2006 and was signed shortly thereafter to Interscope Records.
Ari Gold performed at the 2008 showcase and hit No 10 on the Billboard charts later that summer.

Other artists include Jordan Zevon (USA Songwriting Competition Overall Grand Prize Winner), Melissa Ferrick, Michelle Malone, Throwing Seven and more.
