Calgary, Canada (Top40 Charts) - The frontman for Canadian rock band Moist is hitting the road to promote his latest solo CD, Morning Orbit, and he'll make a stop at the U of C's MacEwan Hall Ballroom on Friday, Sept. 7. Tickets for the concert go on sale Wednesday at all Ticketmaster locations.

In other concert news, the opening act for Aerosmith's tour -- which, as reported yesterday, Sun sources say will be making an Oct. 11 stop at the Saddledome -- will reportedly be fellow American rock legends Cheap Trick.

The band is best known for hits such as Surrender, I Want You To Want Me, Dream Police, and The Flame, as well as for performing the theme song for That '70s Show.

An official announcement on the tour is expected early next week.
