New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Rising NYC pop star Jackson Harris recently spoke with Gotham-Magazine.com about his just-released debut EP 'Long Story Short' (77 East Records), shooting a music video in the Big Apple, and what it's like covering Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' hip-hop hit "Empire State of Mind."

The magazine is just one of several outlets predicting Harris' meteoric rise. AOL PopEater recently declared Jackson "about to pop" and the Wall Street Journal dubbed him a "teen magazine favorite".
