Huey Lewis & The News Confirm 2011 US Tour Dates Including First NYC Performance In 8 Years On February 9, 2011

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Huey Lewis & The News will kick off their 2011 US tour on Jan 21 at L'Auberge du Lac Casino in Lake Charles, LA. Dates extend through April and include a Feb 9 performance at NYC's Gramercy Theatre, their first show in Manhattan in eight years. PBS has also tapped the legendary band for a 'Soulsville' concert special to be filmed at The Bushnell in Hartford on Feb 8. The performance will air on Connecticut Public Broadcasting later this year. See below for the initial dates, with more to be announced soon.

Glowing reviews followed Huey Lewis & The News across the country on their most recent tour. Seattle Weekly raved "[Lewis's] rough-hewn, gravelly but somehow buttery voice sounds just as warm and soulful as it ever did," while the Reno Gazette Journal hailed that his performance "proves 'The Heart of Rock & Roll' is still beating."
