Midem Uk Showcase Announced
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ MIDEM Official Website) It has been announced that the acts taking part in this year's British Music at Midem showcase will be The Guillemots, Lizzy Parks and One EskimO

The evening will be kicked off by an acoustic showcase featuring Dave Gibson, Kill It Kid, Sam Roman & Jonathon Powell. The 2 shows will be segued by the Guillemots' Fyfe Dangerfield doing a short 'solo' set, as well as appearing later on with his main band.

The British @ MIDEM show is organised by a partnership consisting of the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), UK Music, AIM, BPI, MPA, PPL, PRS for Music, arts development agency Small Green Shoots and the Welsh Music Foundation. Phil Patterson of UKTI, under whose umbrella all the organisations come together, says of the showcase that "it provides an opportunity for UK acts to begin the serious business of exporting their talent to the worldwide international audience that the event attracts". Robert Ashcroft, Chief Executive PRS for Music, echoes the 'importance of British music in the wider creative economy'.
