Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Mctrax) "I want to encourage artists to be artists again, and thought I would provide a platform" states Mctrax label owner Andy Fraser on his development of his new Mctrax Music/ Video delivery system ready for its official launch. The motivation behind the creation of a new method of its digital music/ video delivery system was based off of the failure of the major music labels to supply a basic need. "The majors have been fighting the digital world, and in fact even fought CD's before that. They killed Napster instead of embracing the technology, and since then have been beaten into submission bySteve Jobs and Apple," states Fraser. The new Mctrax Music Delivery System allows artists to sell their content on its website for a few cents by-passing the use of iTunes, Google, or any other medium that might charge more for the same purpose of digitally distributing songs and videos. As a Mctrax member, artists have the ability to have music or videos delivered by way of streaming, or downloaded by consumers. The music delivery system also has the ability to send alerts of new "trax" to its members by computer or by mobile device. The new delivery system concept adds to the concept of Fraser's label philosophy of having its artists determine creativity rather than executives. "The industry is running scared. Everything must fit into this 'Disney' formula. Don't offend anyone. No politics, religion, keep the sex vanilla. Artists like Dylan, would never get started today in this climate. Anyone with anything to say, that's real. I would like to go around this industry thinking, as I believe there are people out starving for the real stuff." For more information visit www.mctrax.com
