Rolling Stone Messes With Perfection, Photoshops Katy Perry
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) When Katy Perry appeared almost naked on the cover of Rolling Stone last August, everybody thought she looked amazing, but that's not the full truth. The "I Kissed a Girl" and "California Gurls" singer's cover was reportedly photoshopped as shown in the original image that was leaked on the web via the lourtneycove blog. The post is now removed but of course the photo is still online (see below).

"She's beautiful to begin with. Why does her skin have to be silky smooth? Her boobs pushed up? They even took off her sock in the 'enhanced' one. Her stomach. Her fingers. Her moles are removed from her neck. Lines removed from her underarm. Is it so bad not to be perfect? I see absolutely nothing wrong with the before picture. She's absolutely beautiful. Why does the media see fit to change that? No wonder why society is messed up.", described the author behind lourtneycode.

For the cover, Perry was photographed in Sagaponack, New York, on July 6, 2010 by Mark Seliger. Rolling Stone has not made any comment on the issue.
