Jake Morley is remarkable talent. Already a hugely popular artist on the London circuit, he draws a diverse and enthusiastic audience. His 'lap style' guitar playing is often described as phenomenal and jaw-dropping but it's his songs that are growing his fan-base and reputation well beyond his home town.

Whether gigging with his 4-piece band (which includes former Nizlopi double bass player John Parker), or as a solo performer, the reaction of the crowd is always one of pure delight.

'Many Fish To Fry' is a big, open sounding album, jam-packed full of memorable songs ranging from the poignant 'This City' through to the feel-good 'I Saw Something', via a full choir on the upbeat debut single 'Feet Don't Fail Me Now'. An early EP, boosted by play on Radio 2 and 6 Music, grabbed the attention of renowned producers Phill Brown (Bob Marley / Talk Talk / Faithless) and Calum MacColl (Rokia Traore / Ronan Keating / Eddi Reader) who worked alongside Jake and the band to create an album that overflows with soulful instrumentation, warm vocals and strong lyrics.

Promotion:
With an experienced promotion team in place, the releases are supported with a UK tour, sessions for BBC Introducing, numerous regional radio sessions & interviews and full press, radio and online promotion. Festival bookings for summer 2011 are already streaming in.

Live:
January 2011 sees the start of a UK tour, including an album launch at London's unique Bush Hall on February 21st. In 2010, Jake played over 60 gigs & festivals, including openers for Eric Clapton, Scroobius Pip, The Hoosiers, Ezio, Diana Vickers and Hafdis Huld, a packed-out monthly residency at London's famous Ronnie Scott's Club and a tour of Ireland.

Press:
"Great real life lyrics and superb virtuoso playing. That's extraordinary!"

Designer Magazine
