Zac Brown Band Wins GRAMMY for Best Country Collaboration for "As She's Walking Away" featuring Alan Jackson Zac Brown Band
premieres the full-length video for "Colder Weather
" on their site tomorrow, Monday, February 14 at 11am ET.
A heartfelt ballad that "floats under a beautiful piano melody and Brown's versatile voice" (Atlanta Journal Constitution), "Colder Weather" has been racing up the charts for eight weeks running and lands this week at No 16 with a bullet on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. "Colder Weather" is the second single from the band's No 1 album 'You Get What You Give' (Atlantic).
The Today Show's Hoda Kotb selected "Colder Weather" as her pick of the week raving, "I love that song...anything they sing is great."
"Colder Weather" was directed by Darren Doane (director of the band's videos for No 1 hits "Toes" and "As She's Walking Away") and stars actor Liam Hemsworth, who played the leading male role in Disney's 2010 hit film 'The Last Song.' Hensworth will also appear in an upcoming feature film 'Arabian Nights' with Anthony Hopkins .
A deluxe iTunes single package is also available now featuring live video footage from Zac Brown Band's 2010 Red Rocks concert, which earned the band nearly a half-million live views on Ustream.
In other ZBB news: GRAMMYs reigning Best New Artist, Zac Brown Band kicked off 2011 winning the GRAMMY for Best Country Collaboration for "As She's Walking Away" featuring Alan Jackson. Zac Brown Band is also nominated for five ACM awards, with Brown personally earning an additional four nominations, Brown leads all artists with a cumulative total of nine nominations.
Of the GRAMMY win, Zac Brown noted: "It was an honor to be recognized by The Recording Academy as Best New Artist last year, and to be able to follow that up with another win this year was just incredible.
