Guitar Shop Launches Own 'scrappage' Scheme
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Hollywood Music Shop) Remember the recent car scrappage scheme, where drivers received minimum part exchange deals by trading in their old car? Now, musicians are being encouraged to dust-off their old guitars and get a guaranteed minimum value when trading up to a new model from Fender or Gibson.

Launched 1st March, the Guitar Scrappage Scheme is the brainchild of Hollywood Music Shop in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, who is the area's exclusive dealers for these world famous brands.

"There's never been a better time to trade in your old guitar with us!" said shop owner Jason Higgins.

With around 25% of buyers trading in their old guitar when purchasing a new one, it's thought the scheme could see this number increase to more than 50%. And with a complimentary zero percent finance deal also available, a gleaming new guitar could be closer than ever.

"Whatever the guitar, customers will receive a minimum &100 for it in part-exchange - guaranteed! And there's up to &300 trade in allowance, all available against our range of USA Gibson and Fender guitars," said Hollywood Music manager, Jon Evans.

The guitar scrappage scheme applies to any type of trade-in guitar. So your current acoustic, electric or bass guitar could be more valuable than you thought if traded in before the 30 April deadline. What will become of all the old trade-in guitars? The shop plans to rescue as many as possible and donate selected guitars to local charity Willen Hospice.
