ORIGINS ON-GOING EARTH INITIATIVES:

PLANT-A-TREE CAMPAIGN

In 2009, Origins launched its Plant-A-Tree Campaign in partnership with American Forests' Global ReLeaf; an education and action program that helps individuals, agencies and corporations improve the local and global environment by planting and caring for trees. Since the launch of this successful campaign, Origins has aided reforestation projects globally by helping to plant more than 93,000 trees around the world.

In addition to planting trees on behalf of concert attendees and live streaming viewers, from April 17 - 30, Origins will plant a tree through Global ReLeaf in honor of each customer nationwide who purchases the NEW Plantscription Anti-aging serum. The key ingredient in Plantscription is the Anogeissus Tree found in The Republic of Ghana. When Origins harvests Anogeissus, it is done to ensure sustainability and not damage the tree; it is taken from pruned branches or directly from the bark of the tree without stripping it. Our tree-planting project for 2011 will link to an initiative in Africa. According to clinical tests, Plantscription Anti-aging Serum is clinically proven to have 88% of the visible wrinkle-reducing power of a leading prescription wrinkle ingredient without the challenging side effects of photosensitivity, skin shedding, burning, stinging, redness, dryness, flaking and itching.

TRADE IN PROGRAM

On Earth Day (April 22, 2011), customers are invited to "trade in" any one of their existing skin care products, regardless of brand, for an Origins high-performance, paraben free cleanser, while supplies last at Origins retail stores and department store counters for FREE. Customers will have the choice between two full size award-winning products Checks and Balances Frothy face wash and A Perfect World Antioxidant cleanser with White Tea - while supplies last, and all cosmetic packaging collected will be recycled or responsibility converted to energy through the Return to Origins Recycling Program.

RETURN TO ORIGINS RECYCLING PROGRAM

As an ongoing, year-round prong to the Origins Earth Initiatives, the Return to Origins Recycling Program is yet another way for Origins to motivate consumers to protect the planet. Launched in 2009, this first-of-its-kind nationwide cosmetics recycling program offers consumers a place to drop off their empty cosmetic packaging everything from bottles, tubes, jars, deodorant sticks and compacts regardless of brand - to be recycled, when possible, or responsibly converted to energy. ABOUT TRAIN

Pat Monahan vocals - Jimmy Stafford guitar - Scott Underwood drums

Over the course of 15 years, Train has made its mark on music history with their Grammy-Award-winning song "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)" and chart-topping singles "Meet Virginia" and "Calling All Angels." Since forming in San Francisco in 1994, the multi-platinum selling band has traveled a long, successful and sometimes arduous journey. Following their 2006 release, For Me, It's You, the band took a three-year hiatus, and in that time, Train has, for all intents and purposes, experienced an epiphany as a whole. Now, with their fifth album, Save Me San Francisco, Train has channeled their early days, revisiting the roots rock sound that has made the band such a tour de force and, in turn, the band is united stronger than ever before. The release has become the biggest release of their sixteen year career, led by the smash success of the single "Hey Soul Sister," which won a 2011 Grammy Award and was the #1 iTunes track of 2010. "Hey, Soul Sister" has reached #1 at radio in the US and in 15 countries abroad as well. Train's second single "If It's Love" also hit #1 this year and current single "Marry Me" continues to move up the charts. Save Me San Francisco has been certified gold, and the band shows no signs of stopping their incredible run in 2011.
