As usual the arts, comedy and theatre are extremely well catered for. This year sees Sadler's Wells and the English National Ballet coming to the festival, Alexei Sayle appearing in the Literary Arena as well as a BAFTA hosted Q&A on 'The Trip' with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon in the Film & Music Arena. Fronting comedy will be the likes of Omid Djalili, Phil Jupitus, Jason Byrne and Greg Davies.

The festival has negotiated a 15 year lease on the Henham Park Estate and is making improvements to the site this year including a second bridge across the lake - if you've been you'll appreciate how important this is.

Talking with Jon Dunn, the Music Arena Booker, he commented on the fact the capacity has not been increased: "The nature of Latitude means big isn't always beautiful. We're keen to keep the integrity of the music and the festival experience.£

Having booked The National for what must be their first proper festival headline slot he said: "It was the right decision to book them, they first played back in 2007 and headlined the second stage last year, the heart of Latitude remains bringing smaller bands to the fore.£

Latitude tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices are: Weekend camping - £170 (Campervan permit - £30), Day Tickets - £70. There are also a variety of boutique camping options available at various prices. Go to Latitude for further details.
