James Blake Announces Spring US Tour; His Self-titled Debut In Stores On March 22, 2011
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Universal Republic Records) JAMES BLAKE is proud to announce his first proper tour of the United States in support of his self-titled critically-acclaimed UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC RECORDS debut. The album is available now via all digital retailers and physical- which includes specialty vinyl - hits stores everywhere March 22, 2011. This spring, the 22-year-old UK maestro of electronic pop will deliver his undeniable and unique sound to venues across America including stops at SXSW in Austin, TX and the Pitchfork Music Festival.

BLAKE's sonic alchemy of electro, pop, and indie will no doubt mesmerize crowds across the country. His vocal prowess remains palpable in any setting, and he's bound to spellbind every single audience that sees his shows. The confirmed dates see BLAKE crisscrossing the United States and giving markets everywhere the chance to experience his live show.

The international phenom accrued worldwide attention for his cover of Feist's "Limit To Your Love". The song has reached Top 5 on iTunes songs chart in several international territories, and the video has also racked up over 2.5 million views. In addition, the album has stormed its way into iTunes Top 5 in Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Ireland, and Austria since its February 4th release.

The album has swept critics and tastemakers away, making them believers in BLAKE. The Washington Post called it, "...eerily beautiful," while in a 3 out of 4 star review, People Magazine writes, "the hypnotic debut from this onetime London deejay is an ambient soundscape where man meets machine, producing something mysteriously like 'soultronica'". Rolling Stone announced in its 3 out of 4 star review, 'English phenom combines Radiohead and gorgeous soul... starkly beautiful slow-jams full of empty spaces and pale crooning." Finally NPR says, "An accessible and beautiful entry point into London's vibrant electronic scene".

However, you have to experience it in concert to believe it.
