NEW YORK (OutKast Fans Website) - OutKast will soon begin production on a TV movie called "Speakerboxx." The film will be accompanied by a complete soundtrack of new material, which will also be officially released as OutKast 's next album.
Big Boi and Andre are currently at work on the music for the film described as a "1930s period piece and musical" positioned somewhere between "The Colour Purple" and "Ameli."
According to Big Boi, the music will be all about the funk.
