World Party Cancels SXSW And NYC Shows Due To Illness

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) World Party has canceled their upcoming dates at SXSW and at NYC's Joe's Pub on 3/22 and 3/23 due to leader Karl Wallinger's recent illness.

The band plans to resume activity in May, followed by an extensive U.S. tour this summer. World Party will also release a 4 or 5 CD collection later this year, packed with unreleased studio gems and live recordings via Wallinger's own label, Seaview Records. This collection will be preceded by the launch of an all-new World Party song.
