Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Tulips Official Website) The Lifetime film is based on the life of Libba Phillips of Sacramento who searched for years for her missing sister and founded a group providing resources for finding runaways and vanished children, Outpost for Hope.
Said Jared Petrich, lead singer of the Tulips: 'This is a great film with an extraordinary message. It brings attention to the neglected national problem of child disappearances that fall between the cracks for underfunded law enforcement agencies, causing terrible sadness and profound, sometimes permanent loss to many American families. Libba is a true hero, beautifully played by actress A. J. Cook of Criminal Minds on CBS. It is a wonderful privilege and opportunity for our musical group to be part of a beautiful film of this quality.'

ABOUT THE TULIPS
The Tulips features Jared Petrich (vocals, guitars, keys, harmonica) and Dana Rogge (vocals, guitar). The group was formed in 2010 and is part of the new West Coast acoustic folk revival movement featuring edgy themes and accomplished singer-songwriters. Petrich and Rogge are both dedicated West Coast environmental and peace activists with strong roots in the traditions and folklore of the coastal and
Sierra Nevada backcountry where they spent much of their youths. An earlier song written and sung by Petrich, 'I Want You Now,' was featured on ABC's hit show 'Grey's Anatomy'.
The group's debut album, Mother Universe, to be officially released on April 20 2011, is dedicated to John Muir, patron saint of the American wilderness, and to activist and singer/songwriter Pete Seeger, who played a principal role on the East Coast in cleaning up America's Hudson River. The Tulips' second album will include music that Seeger's late colleague, Woody Guthrie, composed while living in California.
