Mad Catz Join Forces With Legendary Rock Band 'The Who' To Support The Teenage Cancer Trust
San Diego, CA (Top40 Charts/ Mad Catz Interactive, Inc.) Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. ("Mad Catz" or "the Company") (AMEX/TSX: MCZ), today pledged continued support for Teenage Cancer Trust, a UK charity which helps young people fight cancer. The Company is auctioning two of its Rock Band Wireless Wooden Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controllers signed by the charity's long standing patron and 'The Who' front man, Roger Daltrey, and band mate, Pete Townshend, with all funds raised going to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Teenage Cancer Trust funds and develops specialist teenage cancer units in the UK within NHS hospitals which enable young people to be treated together, by an expert team, in the best possible environment for their age group. Teenage Cancer Trust focuses on quality of life and aims to improve the chances of survival for young people with cancer.

Each year Teenage Cancer Trust hosts a series of music and comedy gigs at London's renowned Royal Albert Hall venue, an annual event, which has so far raised over 10 million in 10 years. On Thursday March 24th, Patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust, Roger Daltrey CBE performed 'The Who's' 1969 rock opera 'Tommy' as well as hits from Live at Leeds. Following his recent performance, Mad Catz is auctioning two Rock Band Wireless Wooden Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controllers on eBay. Each Guitar Controller has been personally signed by 'The Who' members, Roger Daltrey CBE and Pete Townshend, and will be shipped alongside a verified certificate of ownership with all proceeds of the auction going directly to Teenage Cancer Trust.

The two auctions, which began on Sunday March 27th, 2011, are expected to run for seven days, ending on the evening of Sunday April 3rd, 2011 and present the ideal opportunity for gamers and rock fans alike to own a one-of-a-kind piece of 'The Who' merchandise. We hope these guitars help raise even more money for young people with cancer."
