NEW YORK (Beyonce Fans Website) - While rumours continue fly about Beyonce Knowles tying the knot with Jay-Z, the pop star's younger sister Solange beat her to the punch. Seventeen-year old Solange Knowles wed college football star Daniel Smith in the Bahamas at a seaside ceremony over the weekend. In attendance were members of the Knowles family - including her parents and Beyonce - and Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland.

Solange released her debut album, "Solo Star", last year. Solange released a statement yesterday saying, "I am excited about this new phase in my life. I am very happy and feel truly blessed to have the unconditional love and support of my parents and my entire family."
