 NEW YORK (NBC announcement) - "Saturday Night Live" features one of the biggest names in entertainment in the coming week. On April 10, Janet Jackson makes an exclusive appearance as both host and musical guest. This is Jackson's first hosting appearance on the show (she served as musical guest in 1994.). Jackson joins a distinguished group of musicians who have done "double duty" on the show, including Paul Simon, The Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Sting, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and most recently Justin Timberlake. On April 10th, "Saturday Night Live" welcomes international music sensation Janet Jackson as host and musical guest. Jackson is a multiple Grammy and MTV Award-winning performer, whose multi-platinum albums from "Control" to "All For You" have sold more than 50 million copies worldwide. A peerless live performer, her 1990 "Rhythm Nation" tour remains the most successful debut concert tour in history. Her new album, "Damita Jo," will be released on March 30.
