DETROIT (White Stripes Fans Website) - Jack White entered into a plea agreement yesterday (March 9), entering a guilty plea on charges of assault and battery. White previously pled innocent to misdemeanor aggrivated assault, charges that stemmed from an altercation with Von Bondies front man Jason Stollsteimer on Dec. 13 (read full story). The plea agreement let White avoid facing up to a year in jail. He agreed to pay a $500 fine, plus $250 in court costs. He was also ordered to enroll in anger management classes. Stollsteimer alleged that White punched him in the face seven times at a show at Detroit's Magic Stick. Up until entering his plea, White maintained that he acted in self defense.
