New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) Brazilian band CSS have signed a licensing deal with V2
Music to release their new album La
Liberacion through the Cooperative
Music network worldwide (excluding Japan and Brazil) onAugust 29. In the US, it will be released on V2 / Cooperative
Music / Downtown Records.
Previously signed to Sub Pop out of the US, the band have released two successful and critically acclaimed albums Cansei de Ser Sexy in 2006, and Donkey in 2008. CSS' third opus has been recorded in the band's own studio in Sao Paulo, Brazil and features collaborations with
Bobby Gillespie and Ratatat.

America through April and will also perform at Coachella festival. They will be touring this summer and autumn in Europe.
