Saiah Releases New Album Hidden Treasure
Albany, NY (Top40 Charts/ April Fool Records) April Fool Records' Recording Artist Saiah released his third album, Hidden Treasure, on April 1, 2011. Hidden Treasure can be found in stores worldwide (upon request), for download at ITunes, digitally on CD Baby.com, www.saiah.co, and other online distributors.
Coupled with his charismatic personality and powerful stage presence, Saiah's compelling, groove-intensive fusion of modern music, original, socially conscious lyrics and broad musical appeal has attracted attention from event organizers, DJ's, and pop, soul and hip-hop listeners all over the world. He has performed at various hotspots in Richmond, Virginia, his hometown, including The Hyperlink, Casablanca's, and Club 321 as well as venues in other cities up the East Coast, including here in New York State. Saiah also opened for DJ UNK in Charleston, West Virginia, Chip Tha Ripper in New York, New York and performed for hundreds at the GreekFest in Long Island alongside artists such as Lil Mama and Neyo. He's also been selected to perform in talent shows by companies from Washington, DC and New York, including Alicia Key's own MBK Entertainment, as well as internationally in Toronto, Canada. Most recently he was selected to perform at a Peace Festival in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Some of the key tracks from Hidden Treasure that show Saiah's powerful artistic talent are *Turn It Up*, a club track sure to make you want to get up and move, *Overrated*, which relates the story of a broken relationship through different eyes, *Stay Alive*, a socially aware track, and *Bounce Slow*, which gives you a glimpse into Saiah. Throughout the collection, his style reflects a diverse respect for the many different genres that have inspired him; his influences range from Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye to Common Sense and Tupac. Saiah, who began experimenting with poetry when he was 14, describes his music as *an unique sound for the hip-hop genre with creative wordplay and bangin' beats.*
