Rock Out With Fools On Sunday's Album Release
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Fools On Sunday official website) If a kid can rock, like REALLY rock, is it okay to have him front a rock band?

In rock band Fools On Sunday, the answer's a no-brainer. Of course you do, and when his name is Evan Seligman, you better!
Fools On Sunday is all about old-school all-out classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd) fused with modern-alt-rock (Jack White, The Black Keys). The band's sound is a dead ringer to a time when shredding of guitars and bombastic drumming are all you need to rock out.
Fools On Sunday was the brainchild of Stuart 'Stu' Lederman, a high school friend of the band's bassist Marc Seligman. In 2008, Stu wanted to do what he loves “ rock music “ and he wouldn't let his illness deter him from doing it. Marc was willing to help Stu out on one condition “ to allow his then 11-year-old son, Evan Seligman, to pound on the drums. A mix of talent, experience, and youth, Fools On Sunday was born, and their first gigs were in Astoria, New York.

In 2010, Stu's health improved but decided to pursue other interests, leaving Evan and Marc at the helm of the band. Pro musician Louis Mottola replaced Stu on guitars, completing Fools On Sunday and turning into the vehicle for now 14-year-old Evan's music career.

Music prodigy Evan Seligman is Fools On Sunday's lead vocalist and drummer. He also writes songs for the band, has starred in a show on MTV2 and a music video with comedian Zack Galifiniakis, and is in an indie movie titled 'Joshua'. Multi-talented and versatile are just a few adjectives to be used on Evan. His dad Marc Seligman plays the bass, a veteran of New York's music scene, playing for bands The Cyclones, The Mad Violets, and the US' The Vines. The father-son dynamic reinforces the band's sound. On their single 'Turntable Blues', you can feel Evan's mature-yet-fresh heavy rock sensibility, which capitalizes on an almost foregone style called 'riff rock'. You wouldn't even guess a kid is behind this much rock drawl!
Fools On Sunday is gritty rock and most importantly, not kidding around. Fools On Sunday has recorded four songs at Mitch Easter's Fidelitorium Studio in North Carolina, the same studio where iconic musicians REM, Pavement, Suzanne Vega, and Marshall Crenshaw also recorded their tracks.
