A former acclaimed Bassist of the late Grover Washington, Jr. & Joe Zawinul, Gerald Veasley has made outstanding notable contributions on more than 50 plus highly acclaimed albums prior to his label deal in 1992 on Heads Up International Records, a Division of Concord Music Group with his freshman album titled "Look Ahead". Some of his legendary hits include "Valdez in the Country," "Love Letters" "Do I Do" "Quiet Storm" Slip N' Slide and has 7 grand scale albums released to date. He was also named "Best Electric Bassist" in Jazziz Magazine, featured in numerous magazines, blogs and since has captured the attention of his peers, music journalists and fans globally.

This year marks the 10th Annual Bass Boot Camp conducted by Veasley along with world class celebrities. It is a unique educational platform founded in 2002 by Gerald Veasley, Roxanne Veasley and Lee Patterson, and is the ultimate experience for Bassists looking to grow and develop during a weekend getaway. His new 2011 spring release the "Electric Mingus Project" is a passion project for him as he truly gets deep with the music of Charles Mingus.
