Cee Lo Green To Host LA, Los Angeles Times Magazine's 'Rock/Style'
LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Los Angeles Times Media Group) Superstar Cee Lo Green is set to host 'Rock/Style,' LA, Los Angeles Times Magazine's exclusive event scheduled to complement the annual music issue. The iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Bar will provide the perfect poolside setting for the private evening of live entertainment and fashion on Wednesday, June 1st.

'Cee Lo is an ideal host for this signature Los Angeles Times Magazine event, celebrating the intersections of music and fashion,' said Anna Magzanyan, The Times' Vice President, Advertiser Marketing and Events. 'Known for his Grammy-winning radio hits, cross-genre collaborations and brilliant style, Green will certainly bring the right energy to the party.'

Macy's is returning as 'Rock/Style's' presenting sponsor and will showcase handpicked collections of the latest in fashion and hot summer trends with runway shows throughout the evening. The outdoor club event will also feature special guests, DJ sets and a few surprises.

Skylar Grey - noted for her breakout Grammy Awards performance of 'I Need a Doctor' with collaborators Eminem and Dr. Dre - will be LA's cover subject. Inside the issue, stories will range from roots music, with an update on local hero Dave Alvin of the Blasters and a Honky Tonk retrospective, to tech-savvy pop, with a profile of hit producer RedOne. LA's crowd-pleasing '50' will feature snapshots of Southern California bands through the decades and, in an extended play version of the monthly 'Now Hear This' section, critics from around the world will share their song picks.

'There's no better way to welcome summer in Southern California than to update your playlist and wardrobe,' said LA Editor, Nancie Clare. 'Our June issue will kick-off the season with tastemakers' tips on memorable music and cutting-edge style, and will be a great read for the beach, the hills or wherever the sunny days ahead find you.'

Tickets for 'Rock/Style' at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, a Thompson Hotel, are on sale now. A hosted bar, sponsored by Alizé and featuring Peroni - the event's exclusive beer, and appetizers are included with ticket purchase. For details, go to latimesmagazine.com/rockstyle.
