Limited Edition Collector's Set Of Robbie Robertson's How To Become Clairvoyant Available On May 30, 2011
Santa Monica, CA (Top40 Charts/ 429 Records) Robbie Robertson's How To Become Clairvoyant (429 Records/Macro-Biotic Records), which debuted at No. 13* on The Billboard 200 and was awarded four stars by Rolling Stone, is the most personal album of his career and a deeply collaborative work as well, featuring such artists as Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Trent Reznor, Tom Morello, Robert Randolph and others. To realize his vision for the Limited Edition Collector's Set of How To Become Clairvoyant, Robertson similarly enlisted several friends uniquely suited to the project - including artist Richard Prince, photographer Anton Corbijn, magician/actor/historian Ricky Jay, who contributed art from his personal collection, photographer Sante D'Orazio, photojournalist Maureen Lambray and designer/photographer David Jordan Williams. Each contributed to the 13" x 13" art book included in the special edition, which contains more than 50 stunning pages of art, photos and notes from the album.

The collection also features an individually numbered set of five exclusive 12" x 12" limited edition and signed lithographs printed on 125lb fine art cover uncoated super smooth substrate. Acclaimed American conceptual artist Richard Prince contributes three "rephotographs" of Robertson and legendary photographer/director Anton Corbijn contributes one image. The fifth lithograph is of the 2011 Robbie Robertson commemorative Canadian stamp, which features a photograph by David Jordan Williams, who oversaw the packaging for How To Become Clairvoyant and the Limited Edition Collector's Set. Williams also designed a set of eight 4.25" x 6.25" tarot cards exclusively for the Limited Edition.

In addition to the 12-track CD How To Become Clairvoyant, the Limited Edition Collector's Set also features a bonus CD with 10 additional tracks (two exclusive new tracks, six songwriter versions of songs from the album and two outtakes), three 180-gram clear vinyl LPs containing the 22 tracks from the album and bonus CD, a DVD containing the multitrack files of three songs from How To Become Clairvoyant and a premium digital version of the album. The inclusion of the six "songwriter" bonus tracks - early versions of songs later re-recorded for the album - gives fans an inside look at Robertson's creative process.

The edition will be limited to 2,500 copies and each package will be individually numbered and signed by Robertson. The pre-order period for the Limited Edition Collector's Set of How To Become Clairvoyant is underway now at https://www.robbie-robertson.com/how-to-become-clairvoyant-collectors-edition/. It will ship beginning May 30th.

"I've never been this excited and proud to sign a collection of music and art that so perfectly reflects the heart of a piece of work," says Robertson.
