Dave Matthews Band And Friends Form A Caravan

VERNON, CT. (Top40 Charts/ TicketNetwork) Despite stating that they would take 2011 off to focus on recording after spending much of 2009 and 2010 touring, the Dave Matthews Band announced earlier this year that they will host several traveling festivals throughout the summer. The three-day shows will feature a full set from DMB each night, plus performances by a lineup of acts that will change for each city.

The caravan will begin in Atlantic City, NJ, on June 24. It will then land in Chicago, IL, on July 8, move to New York City's Governors Island on August 26, and will finally end in George, WA, on September 2. Over 60 acts will perform during the four festivals, including David Gray, The Flaming Lips, Josh Ritter, Gogol Bordello, and Kid Cudi.
