However, China's Culture Ministry has yet to approve the pop star's potential appearances. Securing government approval may be a challenge, given Britney's racy stage show. Britney would be one of the biggest-selling western pop stars to tour the country since the establishment of the Communist government in 1949.
Britney and pals made the gossip columns this week by reportedly demanding that trendy Miami nightclub Mynt pay them $2,000 to visit the venue.
