NEW YORK (Darkness Fans Website) - Darkness singer Justin Hawkins has had the road life catch up to him. After just four dates into the band's first full on U.S. tour, the soprano screecher has lost his voice. The Darkness cancelled their Cleveland concert just hours before set time upsetting fans who were already lined-up outside the club.

Hawkins apologized to fans in a statement, promising the band will return. "Cleveland is one of the greatest rock and roll cities in the world, and we are all eagerly looking forward to playing our first gig there."
