LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) - Crazy Town with Sugar Ray, Third Eye Blind with Nikka Costa, and Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins with Seal are among the pairings announced at a press conference today (August 21) for BREATHE, the upcoming breast cancer awareness concert being co-produced by Third Eye Blind frontman Jenkins.
The October 27 performance at Los Angeles's Greek Theatre will also include Run DMC's Run with Jurassic 5 and Seal with Aaliyah, as well as appearances by the Deftones, Liz Phair, and Julia Fordham.

Jenkins was particularly excited about the prospects of the two popular rock acts sharing the stage: "What would be better than to get Seth [Binzer, a.k.a. Shifty Shellshock] and Mark McGrath on stage together? So, Crazy Town and Sugar Ray are gonna do something. I don't know what they're going to do, but they're going to do something. And I want to be there to see it."

While not confirmed for the event, Kid Rock attended the press conference in order to show his support for the event. Rock explained his passion for the cause: "I just love boobs. I love women."

Jenkins has teamed up for the event with the Step Up Women's Network, a non-profit membership organization that unites female professionals. Proceeds will benefit the UCLA Breast Center and the Breast Examination Center of Harlem. Tickets for BREATHE go on sale this Saturday (August 25), through TicketMaster.
