NEW YORK (NBA Official Website) - The NBA has enlisted none other than the Black Eyed Peas to provide the theme song for the 2004 play-offs. The track is a remake of the song, "Let's Get Retarded" from the group's " Elephunk" album. However, the song has been given a more sensitive makeover as "Let's Get It Started". Get used to seeing BEP on your TV screen. The trio will appear in promotional TV spots that will run at least 2,000 times over a six-week period during the play-offs. "This means we made it," says BEP rapper Will.I.Am. "The song is about letting go of inhibitions and getting started, and they are about letting the game get started."
