Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ That's My Ticket / Grateful Dead / Rhino Entertainment) Grateful Dead Productions and Rhino Entertainment have partnered with That's My Ticket to create various ticket display and ticket-related products. In 1983, after growing tired of watching promoters and scalpers profit from their tickets at the cost of the fans, the Grateful Dead launched their very own ticketing company, Grateful Dead Ticket Sales (GDTS), which gave them the freedom to design and sell their own tickets through mail order. Each following year until the band ceased touring in 1995, GDTS sold thousands of uniquely designed tickets directly to fans. Although it's been more than 15 years since the Grateful Dead last took the stage, recalling the magic and the memories of the Dead concert experience is still pure joy for Dead Heads and a vital catalyst of these memories are the tickets themselves. "We are thrilled to have That's My Ticket as a Grateful Dead licensing partner," says Sara Nemerov, SVP of Consumer Products and Brand Licensing, Rhino Entertainment. "Their products bring the art of ticketing to life." "Our Grateful Dead Mega Tickets are the ultimate in concert wall art," says Dean Macchi, president of That's My Ticket. "Acquiring Grateful Dead concert tickets were the first step in the fan's journey that eventually culminated in an unforgettable concert performance. We love helping fans remember and commemorate those amazing experiences." That's My Ticket's Grateful Dead product line will include an extensive selection of items for Dead Heads to display the tickets that first moved them through arena turnstiles years ago. The first Grateful Dead products from That's My Ticket are Mega Tickets, which are enlarged versions of original tickets printed on canvas and stretch mounted as pieces of artwork. Following this launch, official ticket artwork will be used for memory boxes, scrapbooks, and ticket albums. Products will be available at https://www.thatsmyticket.com and other internet specialty retailers as well as hobby and craft stores. https://www.thatsmyticket.com https://www.dead.net
