The Band Spain Using Kickstarter To Fund New Album

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Spain Official Website) The band Spain, creators of the seminal 1995 slowcore album "Blue Moods Of Spain", is utilizing fan-funding website Kickstarter to finish recording and to release their new album, "The Soul Of Spain".

The album will be the band's first full-length collection of new material in over ten years. Founding member Josh Haden reprises his role as bassist/vocalist, Daniel Brummel (of the band Ozma) plays lead electric and acoustic guitars, Randy Kirk plays keyboards and electric guitar, and Matt Mayhall plays drums and percussion. Also appearing are Josh's sisters, violinist/vocalist Petra Haden (Foo Fighters, Decemberists, and solo artist in her own right) and cellist Tanya Haden (Silversun Pickups, Let's Go Sailing, wife of actor Jack Black), appearing for the first time with Spain since "Blue Moods". After funding is secured, Spain will start planning their first world tour since 1999.
