NEW YORK (Pixies Official Website) - As the newly reformed Pixies play the first official gig on their huge (and totally sold out) North American tour, comes news of a new official website for the band featuring a download of an exclusive new digital single. The Pixies original line up of bassist Kim Deal, frontman Frank Black, guitarist Joey Santiago and drummer Dave Lovering took to the stage last night (April 13) at a 2,000 capacity venue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band, playing their first official reunion gig in over 10 years, performed a greatest hits set including tracks 'Monkey Gone To Heaven', 'Here Comes Your Man', 'Debaser', 'Gigantic' and 'Velouria'. Elsewhere, Pixies�s old record company 4AD have launched a new website www.ilovepixies.com which is hosting a huge Pixies quiz, a photo gallery, a press clippings archive and a shop where fans can buy the new Pixies live/documentary DVD �Gouge� and the new �Wave Of Mutilation� best-of CD.
