Nishay was born in Miami, Florida to Wendy and Tony Fisher and raised in Nassau, Bahamas until her 12th birthday. At the age of five she started to sing, and by seven was composing lyrics for her father, who is also a musician. The young star learned the art and craft of music by singing and dancing in front of friends and family. Little did she know this would continue in her adult career.
