Left on Red's story began when Liah and Kelly decided to make their living exclusively through busking in the New York Subways. Now after 3 years, they have written and recorded 2 EPs, been played on over 150 non-commercial and college radio stations, and wowed audiences of all ages and musical tastes with their unique brand of original songs with catchy melodic hooks and intelligent, often humorous yet socially relevant lyrics and passionate improvisational instrumentation.
Left On Red have just have just finished recording a full band, 12 song record with producer Ethan Allan (Ani DiFranco, Patty Griffin, Melissa Ferick, The 88). The album, TRACKS takes the listener through the NYC underground and features sounds recorded from the subway mixed in with the artist's original songs as well as a unique spin on Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues.
In addition to busking, Left on Red performs in clubs and festivals across the US, Canada, France and Spain. Left on Red also takes their music directly to people who otherwise are unable to enjoy live music by performing at the bedsides of patients in hospitals and nursing homes through Musicians On Call and also for domestic violence survivors at YWCA Shelters. Left on Red also performs for war veterans including on shared bills with Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Street Sweeper Social Club) and his organization Axis of Justice.

About Roger Marin:
When it comes to learning how to make a name for yourself as an independent music artist, Roger Marin has been a life long student. Living and breathing music for most of his life, as a teen playing guitar alongside his father - a roaming country music artist, then several years as pedal steel and lead guitar with Fred Eaglesmith and the Flying Squirrels. More recently on his own and ramping up to record, promote and release his third album, the lessons learned have paid off in many ways for the Thorold guitarist and singer-songwriter.
Marin's stage performance is well honed, engaging and brimming with his zest for life. His song writing resonates with his belief that "You only find satisfaction in music by doing it your own way. Right or wrong, you should do it the way you feel it. Don't rush, just work hard and do it right." He has made a world of friends in the business and has an enthusiastic and growing audience. His debut album, Roger Marin Jr., features 12 tracks giving insight to the mechanics and road warriors he was raised with. Marin is no stranger to the rough men and tough lifestyle he writes about. The sophomore album, High Roads, with co-written title track, "High Roads" (written with Texan songwriter Adam Carroll) and its metaphoric imagery to "Rollin On", "Hang this Hat", "Broken Glass and Busted Songs" and "City Girl", this album paints a cinematographic portrait of life on the road.
