NEW YORK (Jay-Z Fans Website) - The attempted murder trial of rapper Beanie Sigel is wrapping up in Philadelphia less than a week after the proceedings began. Arguments in the case closed today and a verdict is expected shortly. Sigel was charged after a shooting outside a Philly strip joint that left one man wounded last July.

Jay-Z and Damon Dash appeared in court earlier this week to support Sigel. Dash issued a statement reading, "We are there for him now and will be regardless of the road ahead."
