Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Hands On Public Relations and Marketing) In a music climate saturated by "Idol" clones and "sounds-likes," D.Ryan is an artist making his own rules and churning out great music. Talk about a rocker with a heart, his new single, "Baby, Baby Keep Shining" was written for his 5 year old niece. It's the debut single off of the new album Souls on Shoes. The video premier for the single "Baby, Baby Keep Shining" is slated for the album release bash June 18th at 12th & Porter in Nashville with the album dropping nationally and at iTunes on June 21st.

A rare find - even in a town saturated with talented musicians - D.Ryan's tracks are stand-alone gems. His thick, soulful voice, head of wild curls and untamed exuberance captivate even the most discriminating of listeners. "He's not an up and coming artist, he's and artist who has arrived!" says multi-platinum selling songwriter and producer Mike Puwal and producer Phil Ricciardi, the men behind the board for the project. Truly passionate about his music reaching others, D.Ryan plans to promote Souls on Shoes by launching a 50/50 Tour, traveling to 50 states in 50 days later this year. His goal is simple, he says, "I plan to take my message on the road and benefit all the hard-working individuals, like myself that make up our country."

Regarding his debut single, D.Ryan says, "I wanted to write a song to let my niece know how much I love her. She lives 2,600 miles away from me and I miss her terribly. She always calls me and leaves these cute little messages on my cell phone telling me how much she misses me, and it just breaks my heart, all I can do is just tell her to keep shining bright cause 'you're my light in the dark.' I hope anyone who has a child or a loved one who they do not get to spend enough time with, can relate."

All these ingredients have combined to create the passion that makes D.Ryan is an artist with one simple agenda. He concludes, "I simply want my music to reach the people."

Notes About the Production and album, Souls on Shoes: D.Ryan says, "I kept my style real on this project!! I have not conformed to my surroundings in Nashville. Nashville is a city not a musical style!! I chose to put together a great album in a great city with great producers. This album completes my journey from the last 6 years of my life. I wanted a record that anyone could listen to and find at lest 1 song they would dig. I wanted it fun, I wanted it clean, I wanted it heart-felt, true, and to the point. I wanted the kids to be able to buy it, so I was careful with my slang. I hope this album changes lives, I hope I can write another album better than this one. I hope people understand it. I hope all my ex-girlfriends hear it and it pisses them off!!! I hope my true family members dig the changes from some of the original demos that they grew to love. And finally, I hope it encourages people to realize that TRUE REAL artists do exist, and not all hope is lost in the music industry."

The Artist's Favorite 2 tracks: "I think 'MY EVERYTHING' is probably one of my most emotional songs I have ever written. In truth, I really hate listening to it because it still tears me up, and takes me back to a dark time in my life. I think 'WHAT'S UP WITH THE WAY IT'S GOING DOWN' will always be one of my favorites, because of the message. I got political without being too political. I intentionally used some edgy tongue and cheek techniques lyrically, and I kept the old school vibe with the execution. I love, love, love, my song 'STATE OF THE WORLD.' I wrote this with my girl Sha Beard in Nashville, and she is my soul sista!! This song is very honest and is executed perfectly!! I love the feeling, and groove of it."

The Producers: "Working with Mike Puwal and Phil Ricciardi was amazing. I would take a bullet for these Kats. I love 'em. Mike P came to one of my shows in Nashville a couple years ago, and I could tell from the look on his face that he instantly got what I am doing. We clicked instantly. And it did not take more than about 5 minutes to realize that Phil was going to be a perfect match to make this tripod complete on this album. Phil is such a good mentor, suto-managing me, every night talking me through all the ins-and-outs of the business. These are simply 2 great dudes that know how to take an artists vision and capture it! Completely and perfectly!! This was the easiest album I have ever recorded, smooth, simple, painless. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with them and at a great studio like 'The Parlor' in Nashville."
