Lerix Releases Anticipated New EP Audio Arcade

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ I AM PR Agency) Rising Brooklyn emcee, Lerix, releases today his anticipated EP Audio Arcade. The 9-track EP is the follow-up to his March 2010's It's a (W)rap-Up Again, and his November 2010's New Heights. Audio Arcade boasts productions Daft Punk, from MTO beats, Soopa, 831 Beats, Stompboxx, Bravestarr, and Lerix himself. About Lerix
Lerix is a Brooklyn based emcee whose recording style is progressive and reminiscent of the "Golden Era." His infatuation with hip hop started at the age of 14 through his older cousin Hank Love, who was the co-host of 105.9's "Hank love and Half-Pint show." Soon enough, Lerix started writing songs, and joined ciphers in high school with his friends in the lunchroom. Lerix's music is often compared with hip hop heavy weights like Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. In 2009, Lerix gained the opportunity to meet with record A&R's. Although the didn't not lead to a deal the meetings did help Lerix realize he wouldn't compromise his persona to fit into the "industry model." During the past year Lerix gained new perspectives on life and has not stopped recording music. Lerix released "It's a (W)Rap...Again!" in July 2010 and released his debut EP "New Heights" in November 2010. His new project "Audio Arcade" was released in June 2011.
