Kate Voegele Takes 'Whiskey-sipping Country' And 'Grrrl-power Pop' (EW) To LA On June 29, 2011

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Heartland singer-songwriter and 'One Tree Hill' star Kate Voegele brings her acclaimed blend of "whiskey-sipping country" and "grrrl-power pop" (EW) to the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 29.

The 24-year-old Voegele will highlight songs from her new album, 'Gravity Happens' (ATO), a work that combines a youthful, modern attitude with raw and uncompromising songwriting. Voegele has already shared the stage with the likes of Neil Young, Grace Potter and Patty Griffin, and is well-known for her role as musician Mia Catalano on the hit television series 'One Tree Hill.'
